Pakistan Engineering Council PEC issues parents/students alerts for those seeking admission to engineering programs in Pakistan and abroad. Students and parents are advised to ensure that the engineering program is accredited by PEC prior to seeking admission to any university.
Pakistan Engineering Council will only register those students whose degree programs are accredited by PEC and are included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule.

PEC issues NOC to the newly launched engineering programs after the initial inspection.

PEC sends a team of professionals for necessary guidance and inspection of the programs after its initial approval. Accreditation is awarded in the fourth year of the degree program after final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the respective institutions to maintain the quality of the degree program, failing to which may result in the cancellation of accreditation.
It is also pertinent to mention here that award of initial permission to start the degree program does not mean that its students shall be registered as engineers.
